Can you even stand the cuteness of this little boy?  I wish you could feel how soft his hair is!  Baby Jared was born a few weeks after we arrived and we see him once a week when we travel to Obuasi for church, so he is literally growing before our eyes.  I will try to remember to take a picture of him in about a year so everyone can see how cute he will be as a toddler! The pickle ball community is growing in our mission!  Last Monday, the office elders had their district come and play.  Elder Brima and Elder Mordy had never even heard of pickle ball but they did great! Elder Crane and Elder Thompson had played before.  Elder Ferry (second from the left) and  Elder Mubu, the one at the far right have improved soooooo much! Elder Mubu's  mission will be complete on March 22nd and he will return to Botswana .  We are really going to miss him.....I LOVE his accent! Here is Elder Mubu with his Ghanaian Smock on!  This piece of cl...

This lady is literally carrying a walking produce stand!  How they do it, I don't know, but they can carry so much on their heads!!! It is a talent!  The highlight of my week was going to the  largest single  market in  West Africa which is known as  the  Kejetia  Market . I finally got a picture of a young man selling fabric!  This is like a walking fabric store.  If you stop him to look, he will take the fabric off of his head and let you look at each piece.  I have seen this since I got here and it just is so fascinating.  You will see people all over selling fabric like this and honestly, they have the most beautiful, colorful fabric that I have ever seen.    Last time I blogged, I mentioned that our Mission Assistants and our Office Elders were up North for Zone Conferences.   While they were on the road, they kept seeing these mud/grass huts which they had seen before but had never stopped.  So they told us that they decided to stop and visit with the people.  They shared with us that the people were so glad  to see them and that they were so happy! They gave them some candy and some cookies that they had for the trip and were so glad to get that.   They have no running water, no elect...
