 Every Tuesday we have the opportunity to attend a District Council.  This little district meets right in the mission office, so we have started to attend it.  It is always a treat to be instructed by these wonderful missionaries.  I don't know if they are always so on point giving instruction and following the agenda but whenever we attend they sure are!  Pictured: Elder Harnois,  Elder Ngwenya, Elder Njirayafa, Elder Beck, Elder Amoah and Elder Motuliki.  They are all fabulous missionaries. Here is a picture of some Ghanian money.  It is 200 cedis.  That is about $15.54 as of today.  I love that it has the Adinkra symbol there in the left hand side that is the Gye Nyame symbol which means: except God.  It is one of my favorite symbols.   You can see this sign  again on this 3 wheeled car  in this picture.  Honestly, once you are aware of the symbols and signs, one can see them everywhere. As we were up in Tamale I took these pictures of the huts that  some of the people live in up there.  I thought before coming to Africa that I would see this kind of thing a lot but I had not seen it in our mission until going up into the Tamale area.   I forgot to post this picture in our last blog too.  It is just Sister Steinmetz and I embracing the African hair styles.   This past Wednesday, we got to go to Accra with the Moomeys to attend the temple.  It had been six months since we went, and it was just so nice to be there again.  I have to say, that being in the temple with the African Saints is one of my favorite things about being here on a mission.  I LOVE seeing them taking charge of the work that is being done there.  It just gives me so much hope and joy to see it.  Sometimes, working in the branches where there are so many members that are so new to the church, I wonder if they will ever get the full vision of the...
